Mark, it sounds more like public relations for the new Seagate team than something that is necessarily factually accurate. They are magnifying the past problems (blame former management), to show what a great job the new bosses are doing.

So if the turnaround is relatively short, the new bosses are geniuses.

And if the turnaround takes longer, just look at all the problems they have to solve because of the former management.

Maybe I'm cynical, and it's certainly not the only explanation. But that's what it looks like. And a lot of people want to blame the former management, with reason, and also because of the current conditions at Seagate.

Just my opinion.
