I fully agree. Communism is not the problem. Chernomyrdin's program more resembled a fascist economic model (he even called it "economic dictatorship"), completely unworkable with all its internal contradictions (print money, but keep the ruble stable with [non-existent] reserves). The problem is that Chernomyrdin is almost certainly out of the running now and the next program may be even worse.
