buy the dip in gold. We might inch up tomorrow morning too. It is a tough call on the S-T. But, one way or another, by the end of the week we will be going DOWN!

Thean and all:

Not much to do today but watch. The money center banks, DELL and my other long candidates gapped waaay tooo much to even consider, (except as a possible short entry!) Shorted AMZN and took a small long position in two S & L's for very short term play. I also took a small short position in CATP - they dropped nearly 8 points on Friday when their CFO indicated that revenue growth was slowing significantly. Being propped up today by general market bouyancy -- I suspect they will be good for a few more points down when the AG rally subsides.

Thean

We can't seem to get above the s.t. top we put in last tuesday. Very interesting.

I have sold 5 of my CPQ 32.5 puts for $2. Still have lots of puts left - am just sitting here thinking the bulls used all their ammo at once (at the open on the highs of the day!!)

Anybody think the upcoming triple witch on the 18th will hold any surprises. Past expirations have looked very orderly and in control.

Mike
