Agreed. Sometimes it is downright hilarious. I remember shaking my head in disbelief as the French political consensus started focusing on a cure for unemployment in the form of reducing the already 35 hour work week so the work could be 'shared' amongst more workers. Of course no one would take a pay cut. The questions are to obvious to bear repeating but it was worth a good laugh. As the old saying goes, 'the French they are a funny race...' (No allussion intended to the pornographic completion of that saying)
