ROY, Utah--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Sept. 8, 1998--Iomega Corporation (NYSE:IOM) today announced that Sir Speedy, Inc. and its global affiliate, MultiCopy, have adopted Iomega's award-winning Zip(R) and Jaz(R) drives and disks at their corporate headquarters, as well as throughout their chain of affiliates, which includes over 800 stores throughout the United States and in 18 countries.
Zip(R) drives are a part of the recommended configuration for all Sir Speedy stores. As for the new stores opened every year, Zip drives are on the standard configuration list for computers, giving customers the flexibility and portability of Iomega products in a printing and graphic reproduction environment.
Jaz(R) drives are used in desktop design stations for customers who bring in large, storage-intensive files, as well as throughout the organization for data storage, back-up and transporting files.
