Re: ViaSat Cheap? I would say so. Last week, it was available for purchase at 12X current year earnings. It unfortunately falls into the "no-mans land" of small/microcap stocks where no investors seem to want to tread. What this press release fails to mention is that they beat out 7 other companies in bidding for this contract, all of them larger than ViaSat. It also does not go beyond the pilot project, which leads to orders worth millions. If you have the patience to wait out the times that pass with no news, it should be a winner. They still stick by their statement that telephony "partnerships" will be announced before end 98. I also look for some defense contracts to be coming down the pipe, especially with the addition of the Admiral to the board.
