HL,
I HATE splits for this reason.
With this stock, each move is now worth two moves so...
You will have X's at 30 which will be 15
Reverses up today.
It would take a move to 13.5 to reverse back down on the chart (after split)

So you still reverse up today on the chart. Tomorrow split in half and then chart accordingly..

Of course check DWA for new trend line etc. Those change too.

I for one continue with old chart by doubling the prices. I also use new chart from DWA. I keep old chart for old trend lines and old points of reference. That is one reason I didn t like DWA afternoon call of DIS right after split since old chart with DIS prices tripled wasn t as bullish as new chart. Think Earl Blumenthal used to keep old charts going for a while after split too until both charts confirm signals. Service can t do this because everything is computer generated. Thats is how I handle splits but then different strokes for different folks.

Only my opinion and I could be wrong.
