re consistently being wrong ....

Do what YOU think is best. You're right, I could be wrong about DELL..... AGAIN on a S-T basis.

Well, I'll certainly do that, which is just to hold for a long time. But I wonder, at what point will you decide you are wrong on a long term basis ? If you shorted (or otherwise bet on a fall in Dell) 6 months ago, doing what you thought was best, you must have made some serious losses on Dell, at least on paper, by now.

LT:
I am curious and my enquiring mind wants to know as to why you are dispensing bearish, unsolicited, unwanted, inimical but ignored advice to DELL BULLS. Your advice, presented altruistically, is misleading to the newbies, and vacilators. You should stop and desist in this pseudoanalysis of DELL's future. If you have a real confidence in your ability to evaluate a stock, you should join a firm and become an analyst and at least, you will get paid for your advice. Write to Bill Fleckenstein to become his associate analyst.

Hi Luc -- I see you're waving your red cape in the bull pasture today! I notice that you said It will be several months (as I said 6 months ago) before we know who was right and who was wrong.

Several months have passed, along with two superb earnings periods since your initial warning. The stock is up nicely since then. Would you now admit that you were wrong, or are you going to hide behind "I was premature" argument. Of course if you do, all you are doing is making a variant of the "tomorrow never comes" argument. As I recall, you originally based at least part of your bearish stance on your personal observation that Dell has decreased its ordering from some unnamed component vendors in Texas. Any comments now?

Luc,

<<It will be several months (as I said 6 months ago) before we know who was right and who was wrong.>>

Several months have now passed since your prediction of 6 months ago and you are wrong...are you man enough to admit it ?

I also see that you have a similar level of credibility on other threads as follows on SI: Strictly: Drilling and oil-field services #25841:

"Luc;
First of all; I have no problen with anything anyone wants to say
here, be it Bull or Bear. Nor do I anticipate responding to
opposing points of view in the future. It is not your opposing
view that I have a problem with; it's your entirely clueless
remarks and even more than the mere remarks, it is the cavalier
way in which you just shoot from the hip... Never have I seen
someone who is supposed to be credible; spew out so much
total jibberish to such a warm reception...hence I can not resist
a response."
