Hi greentree...

And how would anyone be able to determine the "real" short interest in SMU without having access to the individual accounts that are short? After all, wouldn't you have to know if those accounts had offsetting positions in the debentures?

Do brokerage dealers ever give out that information to anyone other than the account nominee?

Short of doing something illegal and inappropriate, how would you suggest that this information be monitored?
