Well maybe not quite nerves of steel! However the market is fragile and it's interesting to see Fidelity trotting out Peter Lynch in its tennis commercials to re-assure us that all will be well with the world. And for now the punters are buying it. Where is all that short covering in gold from the hedge funds? Maybe the S&P options were so far up overnight that the assumption was that gold would have a harder time today, also difficult to top the last few days of last weeks.

Regarding Don Green I suppose the problem is the monopoly of time and space here - don't know any of his personal details - cool down ole 49er! E
