Jim,

Please refresh my failing memory..where did you obtain the following stats that you quote on PC Unit growth:
28% 1995
22% 1996
18% 1997
13% 1998 Est.

Additionally, only POS (Point of Sale to LT) retail sources were used which does not include Dell's direct model...which we all know is significantly greater.

Yikes, you mean I've been ignoring the facts these past two years? Good grief, and my account gained considerably too? How could this happen?

Maybe I shouldn't have cited simply PC sales, but having heard this so often from the naysayers, I fell into the trap of replying to that metric. ANYBODY who has done any due diligence on Dell knows where Dell stands as far as growth in market share in desktops, servers, notebooks and workstations. Guess I was fooled by looking at the real (Dell's) growth data.<VBG> Glad I looked too.
