Don't know. I follow the Tech Stock Option thread, and they are always mentioning these levels - follow especially Don Sew.

Anyway, from IQ chart I could see we had not taken out wed's top - and I don't think 5 or 10 points matters. What matters is these guys spent most of Wed bumping up against this level before the tue/wed rally faded away. So, seems that the first test of this new rally should be that 7950 area.

I sure someone else has some super-duper chart sights.

On a personal note, you might want to ease back on your posting on the SD thread. What you are saying is fine, but if folks haven't folded their cards by now, they won't. Drillers could be starting to base for the next X months. In which case, some of those guys are doing exactly what they want to - get into a beaten-up sector that is now basing. By the way, I sold a big chunk of PKD today. Let it base without me. Please don't take this the wrong way.

Shorted 5 Sep CPQ 30 calls at 2-3/16. I am long the 32.5s from weeks ago.
