Good point. It's kind of a push/pull effect, isn't it. Higher MHz CPUs hungry for more and faster RAM of all kinds. Next question is WHERE'S THE BEEF, I mean bandwidth? DSL @ 1.5 Mbps is coming in to Silicon Valley, slowly. City of Fremont was one of the first cities to get it (don't know how it's decided who's first). I know a lot of folks, including my son, who are waiting for it. Fast bandwidth should remove the last barrier to why the fastest CPUs can't be really taken advantage of.
