NEWS - Drills are a turnin. Donner Minerals Ltd - Drilling has resumed on the South Voisey Bay project Donner Minerals Ltd DML Shares issued 31,689,657 1998-09-04 close $0.59 Tuesday Sep 8 1998 Mr. David Patterson reports Drilling has resumed on the South Voisey Bay project. Drilling was suspended for approximately one month to allow the continuing pulse EM geophysical survey an opportunity to confirm existing geophysical and geological targets and identify additional geophysical targets for follow-up drilling in the remainder of the program. The pulse EM survey, which is approximately 40 per cent complete, continues to be carried out over the core area of the South Voisey Bay project. The geological model for the South Voisey Bay project is essentially identical to that which hosts world class metal deposits at Voisey's Bay. The continuing diamond drill program is designed to locate massive sulphide accumulations at the base of the gabbro, feeder zones containing massive sulphides, and massive sulphides within the underlying gneisses.
