You might be right on the 70% threshhold which makes MSFT's stand about not being a monopoly ever harder to fight.

Now about this following statement Bearded One - LOL!!

Let's look at it another way. You have a monopoly if the competition owns less
than 30% (my #) or 16% (your #) of the marketshare. In this case, the competition
owns about 6% of the marketshare, which makes them either 30/6=5 times less
powerful in the market or 16/6=2.66 times less powerful in the market than what's needed to head off a monopoly.


You sounded like a MSFT lawyer trying to confuse the courts into thinking it doesnt actually have 70%+ marketshare! You had my head spinning. Thats whats so great about math - Its like statistics.
