It's funny...last week we were at 24 and below, and we
were wondering if there was more to go till the bottom,
maybe even 20.
Now Greenspan talks, and seems like 24 is the bottom. I
think we need to see some follow through on today, that
people really believe the market has at least hit
some kind of bottom (I think it is), and that today is
not just a one day occurrence where some little piece of
bad news hits in the next day or so and gets everybody
jittery.

I think the trend is cautiously upward with Greenspan,
but like you said, it will be volatility for a while.

btw...here's a sentiment indicator.

All last week, Flekenstein(sp?) BEAR thread was on the top
of the hot list. Now, nobody is posting there, even after
Barron's had a feature interview article on him.

Interesting how the sentiment wind can change direction so
quickly.
