For me, most politicians are scum. Doesn't make any difference right or left. They're in it for the money and for the power trip. The fact that they all get caught sometimes with their hands in various traps is nothing surprising to me. This was the old American viewpoint before Reagan. Before Reagan turned up the rhetoric with his anti-commie baiting we had a much more civil body politic. Today, it's all theatre and that's how I'm playing this thread. It's a joke. We've got a decent president. He's done some good things... especially economically. These days nobody is weakened by anything. Why? Because the attention span of the media is sooooo small that anything is possible. Anything today is possible. We have a liberal balancing the budget by cutting welfare. Duh. Uh! JH
