>>>I'm very tired of listening to all the short term hype...<<< Oh... poor baby has a low tolerance to humanity... Charles...what are we to do with you? What short term hype? If anything, I think there has been more long term hype. People have mentioned the announcement date as possibly being sometime later this month, but, right or wrong, is that hype? Even if the date were mentioned frequently....uh, which it has been...is that really hype, or just bright eyed and bushy tailed enthusiasm? The later, I would think. See this below: hype: slang; originating in the drug sub-culture, especially among addicts, hype makes reference to "hypodermic", first as an abbreviation, and then extended as a reference to the state of artificial stimulation, excitement, sense of aliveness, etc. via the injection of a drug or, later, the ingestion of colorful pills and capsules with beer and tomato juice, martinis, etc.; now also referring to things not necessarily pharmaceutical: 1. hypocrisy 2. deception 3. sensational promotion and publicizing 4. artificial stimulation via calculated appeal to desires and dreams, often applying to stocks, gurus, automobiles, condominiums, remote parcels of land, athletic "gear wear," and involving extravagant prices in relation to real or intrinsic value. ....Source: some old book I found Seriously, Charles, I don't think there is any real amount of hype here. I think sometimes maybe people are just saying things that personally annoy you, or that you find certain personalities to be annoying. If so, that is just the small price you pay for a public thread and freedom of expression. So, stop grousing and complaining. Shape up! Sincerely, Mistress <g>
