The other competitors do not even show up on the radar screen. Dale, Isn't AMD shipping in excess of 3.5 million CPU's this quarter? Don't you agree that they have so far failed and that their chances for success are slipping. The success of Cyrix and AMD depend on getting their costs under control. Cyrix has had difficulty making money while paying excessive wafer costs to IBM. Likewise, AMD has had serious manufacturing yield issues. In recent weeks, both companies have resolved their manufacturing issues. I think their chances of success have improved considerably as of late. Scumbria
