A double edge sword could develop.
As the US dollar falls, gold moves up, In Indonesia for example, gold costs them about 3 times of what it used to before their currency fell. They all wish they would have had gold before their currencies fell. The other edge is if the US dollar and other currencies become no longer safe, in other words, all currencies fall, people will flock to gold as the only safe haven. I'm watching and waiting. All of this is what could happen in a deflationary scenario. A currency panic could develop. You have to throw in Y2K also, because people may feel safer with gold than dollars as we approach the year 2000.

lightfoot, it's time, the Starr report doesn't look good for Clinton,
I got DROOY, GLDR, TVX, MDG, and ASA. The dollar is weakening, like it did in 73-74 when Nixon resigned. Lot's of money rotating into golds.
