<OT>Uhh, I hate to start something here but, I was driving back from Austin this last summer through Ca, and the Bay Area is minimum $.35 higher gas prices than other parts of California (for example Fresno), so in order for the taxes argument to hold it would have to be local taxes... which it ISNT.

Definitely some for of collusion, or something in No Calif. gas prices.

Yes, I read Michelle's response and she is right. We pay a good deal more in the bay area than others in the state of california. It has nothing to do with state taxes.
