Anybody in America with a brain knows Newt is more moral than the president.

Funny, when raw nerve gets hit with the truth how the name calling is a liberal's first refuge. Your post makes clear that you need to sit down and catch your breath -- and think rationally for a change.

<<Americans generally believe that all politicians are scum and the fact that nobody really cares that Clinton screwed an intern in the White House, but a few fanatics, is a surprise to the fanatics.>>

That statement is irrational. Most Americans do not believe that. Most Americans believe that public service is honorable and that it is a civic responsibility of every citizen to keep it honorable.

<<and the fact that nobody really cares that Clinton screwed an intern in the White House, but a few fanatics>>

If what you say is true, why did the President's personal rating drop 20 points after he admitted his indiscretion? There is a BIG difference between "nobody really cares", and "we're not convinced this is enough to impeach a President".

<<I feel sorry for you fascist fanatics>>

Define "fascist fanatic". That term could very easily be applied to Democrats, the group that wants to tell people how to think, believes that any money not taken by taxes is a gift from the government to you, takes your property without compensation, siezes property on just a suspicion of wrongdoing, etc.

<<The Newt Revolution stalled, got constipated, and now all it's good for is media fodder>>

He got welfare reform and the balanced budget, and the Congress is still working on campaign reform. The new Justice Department investigations should jump start that last one, since no one in Congress really seems to want it. School vouchers are making their way through the states. Morality and personal responsibility are now considered to be among the top issues that voters are concerned with. Doesn't sound like anything got stalled. As a matter of fact, it seems like it's picking up speed. Hopefully, these issues will be discussed without frothing fascists from either side.
