Richard, I just spoke to Martinez today (to discuss current price action). He said, as I expected that the company has never been in better shape. We both guessed that the selling out there is the result of current market conditions and possible margin calls in people's accounts. So, nothing to account for this. I think that there could be news on JSI before the conference call. A lot going on behind the scenes with JSI.

He said that the conference call would be primarily institutions and analysts, but there will be a replay later, and possibly will be on the revamped web site as a Real Audio. Stay tuned for that.

The big news today is that THE SAVVY INVESTOR NEWSLETTER just made JMAR its recommended stock for September. Just got a fax late today, so the people that subscribe should be getting theirs within the next couple of days. This is a well respected letter from what I have found out, and covered on the SIE web site. Here is a summary of what they said were the reasons for the recommendation:

* Revenue Growth Potential

* Strong Balance Sheet

* Management owns 11% of the outstanding stock

* Stock trading at its 52 week low

Its a two page report. Should have a good impact on the stock in the coming days. With news and the conference call, it should be interesting.

SAVVY INVESTOR
Finds undiscovered and undervalued stocks that have tremendous potential for dramatic appreciation. Focuses on stocks trading under $10, selling at or near their 52 week low, with strong balance sheets & outstanding upside potential. Incorporates both fundamental and technical analysis to select emerging growth & special situation companies poised for explosive price appreciation.
