Re: Truman tribute.

Excellent idea Justa...give yourself a few clappers for that :-))

BTW...a tribute to your tight ship here...the "other" thread was puffed up with posts from a poster whose name rhymes with "sickie." This thread is a nice safe harbor from such time-wasters.

** Tribute to Truman **

It's funny how much I have come to care about Truman over the last two years, considering that I don't even know if "Truman Bradley" is his real name. Perhaps this is the most significant contribution of the World Wide Web: it gives all of humanity a forum to exchange ideas; it gives us a chance to get to know each other, to learn to care for other peoples.

I liked the poetry of Truman's posts. For an example, I only need to go as far back as his last post: "Should Mr. Brinker ever read these words, let me at once thank you for many hours of listening and reading enjoyment and for providing the raison d'etre for this topic. If I have helped, even in a small way, to spread the word of your genius into cyberspace, I am gratified. In your time, you have ferried countless thousands to the land of critical mass and hastened the progress of even more thousands closer to that land. For them and many others, you have shown the clear pathway through the tangled wilderness of finance with the crystalline lamp of knowledge, experience, insight, and common sense. You have swayed still others from omnipresent shark-infested waters. For these contributions to society, you are justly praised. Thank you, Mr. Brinker, and thank you all."

What a way with words!

Best wishes to you, Truman,
