Esteban you said: " If you want to pay twice the commission rate and feel you can offset this by the superior executions these systems claim to offer, then you are not comparing Datek to a true internet discount broker. " Claim to offer? Really. Question is: How can there be superior executions compared to Dateks executions which supposedly are "silly fast", as you have claimed on this thread in the past? I'll give you the answer: Datek CAN'T COMPARE to the tradestations (ie; MB trading, Cyberbroker etc) and you know it. I'm just referring to executions only. All the rest leaves Datek somewhere in Cyberspace. The Datek executions should be the equal to the tradestations, but usually they are not even close. I won't even get into the Datek "silly slow" confirms and cancels, sometimes ranging over 5 minutes. I speak from my personal experiences and those of friends that have used Datek. Datek has cost us thousands of dollars with screw ups. MANY SCREWUPS! That's why I don't use them anymore. Customer service stinks too. 90% of the time some kid tells you the "Datek canned answer" to your problem. "Oh, you entered a marketable buy order, tried to cancel it but couldn't, and now the buy was just confirmed 6 minutes later. I see the stock price dropped $1.50 a share too. Don't worry, Datek will not charge you the $9.95 commission. Have a nice day" This happens all too often. Hire some knowledgable people and become accountable for YOUR ERRORS! Finally, Datek has a place for the occasional "investor" not interested in timing and trading the market. Datek CANNOT be depended upon for instant executions, confirmation or cancels. The only reason I post here is to save a poor soul considering using Datek for daytrading and to voice my opinion and respond to the outrageous claims you continue to post here regarding the alleged "superiority" of your system! Hoping you take this post towards improving your product rather than arguing its validity, it would be refreshing.
