Burn baby, burn!!! Yeah...... Thanks R1! Man, what an awesome weekend. Despite my not being able to get my helium to the event and therefore not having a balloon to fly with, it was another fantastic Burning Man. I didn't even leave until 12:30 am Thursday night and got there 3pm Friday (with shopping stops). I've never driven all night before but this event gives me superhuman powers. Happening upon a sunrise on Klamath Lake was beautiful and the water was refreshing. Sorry I didn't get ahold of you John Denton. I think R1's article sums certain aspects of it pretty well, at least as far as the unleashing of creativity goes. My friends had built a 25 tall green Pyromid as our shade source and camp. It burned nicely Sunday night. Anyway, if you're perusing photo's on the web (http://www.burningman.com) of this years event and see a shiny silver skinned guy wearing a fire helmet, metallic fire resistant overalls and jacket doing the limbo in front of a wall of flame........ that would be me. And after the long drive back, to wake up this morning, commute all the way from my bedroom across the hall to my office (still looking for those bunny slippers) and have more great DGIV news that had a key element that had bothered me about previous news... a safe harbor statement.... well, all I can see ahead are great things.
