Janice: Please..shorters do not "exist to correct market imbalances". Shorters exist because there are market imbalances, and they take advantage of an opportunity to make money. Just like everyone else. An opportunity to make money is why they exist. The only problem most people have with them is when they fabricate stories to facilitate profit making on their positions. Those types are no better than the "hypsters" that you all rail against. Please don't elevate shorters to a height that they don't deserve.

*OT* I don't short pennies because I can't. Then why are you here? You don't own it do you? What stocks do you short? I daytrade so I understand about shorting. Yes it is good for the market, but I don't go around hammering stocks like you do. Is this just practice for you in the BB world for when you decide to try it with the big boys? Like you have posted yourself that you do this for(causing people grief & misery)FUN. Is it that boring over there? JT
