Oops! I use words like I buy stocks: "Jump now, look later." I used "sardonic" to comment on your dry wit, but a look at the dictionary reveals something far different (scornfully mocking). It was a stupid but honest mistake, and I hope you will accept my apology.

Well, I am still hurting big time from the recent correction/collapse. (Would have done better flipping hamburgers than stocks.) I do OK in an up market, but goes into denial when the market turns downward. I just have to learn to take my lumps and wait for a better time to reenter. Sigh! Right now, I still have CMGI (stock) and Sept. $30 SEEK and Sept. $65 TXN calls. CMGI looks like it will retest $63 resistance, at which time I will write calls. I will look to sell SEEK and TXN calls ASAP.

Wayne, I am messing around with Internet stocks again, only I am trying to rebuild my confidence by going for singles rather than home runs. I put in an order to buy Network Solution (NSOL) at $39, looking to get out around $46. What do you think?

I also have CMGI stock, and expect it to make another upmove within days. Since I don't expect it to get anywhere near my cost ($80), I just want to write covered calls to earn some income. I put in an order to write October $60 calls at $9. Do you think that is too greedy?

Finally, I can't resist quoting you, "What are you flipping these days?" Hope all is well, and thanks again for your help.
