Help, Anyone using the Diamond SuperSonic II modem with shotgun software which gives you 112K over 2 lines? I've given up on my ISDN order (placed in July) with US West, after they told me today that the two week strike put them over 5 weeks behind on my ISDN line. I don't understand that logic!

Anyway, the shotgun technology looks appealing, at a fraction of the cost of ISDN line. Is it reliable and are the speeds as advertised? Also, I have to use Netcom in my area for the ISP. Any comments there?

I appreciate any and all comments.

Thanks!

Brent

The capabilities are just as stated. The G-100 dual will do two monitors, and the quad will do four monitors. I have used more Matrox cards than anything else and imho Matrox makes nice stuff so I have every reason to believe these will also be top notch. I may wait for a couple of reviews before buying one. I always go to Las Vegas in November for COMDEX for a week, so it should be good op to scope out all the options.
One observation on these cards: They only have 4 meg ram so are limited to 16 bit color at 1600 x 1200 but will do 24 bit at 1280 x 1024. I generally run 1280 x 1024 so they should be adequate. I just like 24 bit color although there isn't much difference to 16 bit.

This link shows some more technical specs.
