Sorry if I don't share your enthusiasm OEM deals are usually inked BEFORE a chip comes out, not After. their failure with Rush and first iteration of Banchee does little to quite my fears either. OEM's are lining up their suppliers NOW for the Xmas season, and if Banchee does not get picked up this month, it probably never will. I'm afraid 3dfx may be "doomed" to the roll of PC hobbiest for power hungry game players, and not the mainstream products market.
