3M in Europe Awards Alydaar Year 2000 Contract
Second Contract from 3M

CHARLOTTE, N.C., Sept. 9 /PRNewswire/ -- Alydaar Software Corporation (Nasdaq: ALYD - news) announced today that it has been awarded a Year 2000 contract by 3M in Europe (NYSE: MMM - news). The contract calls for Alydaar to remediate 3M's multi-language computer code in France, the U.K., Switzerland, and Austria. The contract award marks the second independent contract awarded to Alydaar by 3M. On June 25, 1997, Alydaar was awarded a Year 2000 contract to remediate 3M's St. Paul, MN headquarters applications.

''Alydaar's ability to win repeat business from multi-national clients is testimony to our dedication to providing the best Year 2000 solution, with the lowest amount of errors, at the best possible price,'' said Robert F. Gruder, Chairman and CEO of Alydaar Software Corporation. ''3M's applications are as diverse as the countries from which they come. We have proven that whatever the language, whatever the platform, the one-stop solution for Year 2000 remediation is Alydaar,'' said Gruder. Alydaar will be remediating 3M applications written in PL/1, COBOL, Eztrieve, and Assembler.

''When we mentioned our computer languages such as PL/1, Eztrieve and Assembler, and our multi-country programming styles,'' said Gaetan Dolcimascolo, 3M's European Application Support Manager, ''Alydaar was able to convert everything at the same speed. In fact, they did it all on time and with the expected quality.''

''We continue to see increasing growth in our international business,'' said Gruder. Alydaar has converted code for numerous international clients including Ireland's national air carrier, Aer Lingus, British Airways and Stockholm-based Bankgirocentralen.
