Jim: I think there is just too much crap going on to move up convincingly. We should have problem with 8200, then even I will go short.

Jim, your right on the short as I covered first thing. I did buy AVEI though to off set it yesterday. I like your plan of shorting stocks out of favor better than a popular stock that appears to have broken down. I almost shorted REXI at 12 and would have done better. <G> My biggest lesson I have learned over the years is to never use market order at the open and in fact wait until 1000. I'd saved myself quite a bit if I had covered at 10 rather than at open. At least my AVEI and SAH that I bought yesterday are up today in spite of market down in 100 pt area.
I'm looking for a trading range, say 7800 to 8200 for the next week or two, or until the "I" word starts hitting the airways and then we might test the 7400 low.
