Hiram..most consumers don't have the tech details of cable vrs ADSL ...all they hear is speed and price.... BellSouth is being agressive on price from other $$$ i've seen posted. They are also giving a price break to use their (BellSouth) ISP. Some will jump to adsl now as it rolls out in areas that ATHM or Time Warners Roadrunner are not available YET. Who will be the winner 2-3 years down the road...cabel IMO And of course Bill Gates and his Teledesis network of birds in the sky.
