kemble my basis in dell is much less then A single copy of BearOns, people can waste mony on bearons or they can buy a share of dell which will be less then a copy of bearrons in a few years.

i say we are getting very spoiled.

Kemble, I saw that a bear bit a man in Yellowstone over the weekend.

I don't know if it was the same guy or the same bear but I think there is a hurting bear after today.

Exactly. When a company is earning lots of money the book value and asset base is irrelevant. It only counts when the company is in trouble. Another way of looking at it is to say that whenb the assets are underperforming book value becomes important. That's the reason I keep stressing the phenomenal ROIC Dell keeps posting. $1 in Dell capital (equity plus debt) does the equivalent work of $15 or $20 for any other company. Now that's value!
