Steve Re:"oh, great - you're keeping score"

It costs me to much money to ignore you .. :o(

targets?? Look like I'll have to go to work..

There was one listed in my last post of 80 on the yen. Time frame ~nine months. This is gut feel and not charting.

The Princeton site is projecting 610 on the S&P500 before the first major bottom is put in. As they are taking global liquidity movement into account, I would tend to think that they have direction and some of the magnitude pegged pretty good. I think that they may be overly optimistic.

In terms of rate and duration of decline, the nature of the trend that we are in is without precedent. As such I would not be surprised to see a test of the 350 S&P500 line within the next year.

OK .. so there is some numbers .. all gut feel ..

Now .. as far as what I have for charts .. we are entering into a period in which the rate of change of the slope in the 98 day average will bounce wildly up and down. Much more volatility than we've had for the last several weeks. This period should last for about the next 2.5 months. Then a period of stable trend. NOT a period of stable prices, but stable trend.

BTW am looking very hard at MSQVP right now.
