Excellent! I've never noticed that before. Let's see: "To go boldly where no man has gone before." Well, that sounds good.

How should it go now? "To go boldly where no member or members of the human race has or have gone before, that we -- meaning those of current orthodox scientific understanding -- know of?" Hmm. No, wait. "To go boldly where . . ." How does the "New Generation" handle the p.c. and the split infinitive? I forget.
