Nice summary of Week 1. I only disagree with your assessment of the Panthers. I came away from the game thinking their D has returned to its old form. The front 7 is ferocious, with Lathon, Greene, Fox, Gilbert, Lloyd, Barrow, and a good showing by rookie Jason Peter. Doug Evans is the real deal at CB. They were tremendous against the Falcons. Don't underestimate Chandler, one of the premier QBs in the league when healthy.

Looking at Week 2, the 49ers (at Wash) and the Panthers (at New Orleans) both look good as 4.5 point underdogs.
