Thanks, Julius. I'll read those articles as soon as I get a second. Interestingly, I heard of a study on National Public Radio's Marketplace last night that said of 23 economies studied, an economist found no link between state control and the economic health of a country. The piece also pointed out that the countries which have survived the Asian crisis best were China and India, which exercise state control over their markets. Who knows? Maybe I (and everyone else) need to drop my Western bias. Paul
