A sandbox is doomed in our area. Everybody but we owns a cat or cats. These domestic varmints then congregate in our backyard and avail themselves of my nice soft flowerbeds as well as the fruits of our birdfeeder. Chemical repellent does not do a thing. I would surely like to find a way to dissuade them from coming into our yard. But - they're cats and supremely indifferent to our preferences. And we got great dirt.
Elevating stuff. That is only partly practical. All the baddies (except electrical cords) have been relegated to the garage, my lasat stronghold. Even so, there are dressers, kitchen cabinets and above all the stereo/TV table. All these have great attractant properties to the newly-mobile Helenator.
Bummer about the wine glasses.
