Welcome Back, Jane. Nice to have you back.

I happen to share your opinion on CPQ. I am stuck holding too many pennies at high prices. You were smart to get out ... probably sold into my buying!! Anyway, I am back buying fewer shares but quality.

CPQ is a long term core holding for me. I believe they have cleaned up their inventory problem and that the next couple quarters will show significant growth. Also like CSCO, but haven't bought yet. Favorite holdings are WCOM, LU and ATI - and I own (too high, but will average down) TRV and BT. BT pays a 6% dividend at current prices - I think the downside is limited from here on, maybe 10%. But this stock is still down almost 50% and with the 6% dividend, even a 25% increase in the price makes for a good investment.
