This is typical US gov't. Tariffs have been placed against the following, key it is retroactive May 96- Aug. 97 with a review ongoing for current business: Hyundai: 3.95% Goldstar: 9.28% Mosel-Vitelic: 9.28% This will become a non-event in it's current form. I know alot of people who are wondering how the US can do this to people who bought the product in the far east and imported it without the knowledge or threat of tariffs.
