I thought the GM hit on the P-II was mostly the SEC cartridge. I haven't done my homework on this so straighten me out please.

As for the L2, I find it hard to believe that Intel is out more than 30-40 clams for the 512K L2 in the P-II ... figuring at half the $60 reported price differential between the P-II and the Mendocino.

I say reported because, as you well know, sometimes it's not clear exactly who is getting charged how much for what chip. Undoubtedly intentional on Intel's part.
