This isn't as easy as some would have us believe - obviously, in a project of this scope, there should have been a little more slack time for contingencies programmed in. In any endeavor that hasn't been done before, you have to assume your first estimates of up-time are unrealistic. This is certainly not head-lopping time, but if the system stumbles along and works poorly - IN THE EYES OF THE USERS (no matter how glorious the technology "works" in the eyes of the engineers) the company is headed for much more serious trouble, and G* will be watching.
