I would not worry a lot about this. HWP had a product like this a few years ago called the "Kittyhawk"--it was an utter failure. The cost of the drive (per MB) was much higher than using a floppy or ZIP.

Why do you say that? As I understand it, Iomega pays royalties to Zoran based on sales of their Buz multimedia processor, which has nothing to do with storage devices. Or am I missing something subtle?
