Ted,

So true. On your Labor Day Special I was stunned to hear from the guy ( not to be confused with investor ) who ran scared and dumped his portfolio for a 34K loss. Where was this guy getting his Q's from?

I don't think from you guys. Not having taken a formal personal poll but I sense you folks have an equal number of Bear and Bull guests on with a dash or 2 of your run of the mill prevaricators. Though it did seem that during the week from Hell ( I emphasize SEEM ) that every guy coming on was the Fleck's cousin or genetic spirit guide.

Thanks,
Lazarre

Ted,

Could you please explain why weekly airtime is given to Fleckenstein to rant and rave, other than the obvious fact that people are drawn to freaks a la Jerry Springer? This guy is wrong most of the time; even the "stopped clock" analogy cannot be used when discussing him<GGG> There is enough occurring in world markets to instill fear, and great amounts of it, in the individual investor. Fleckenstein merely adds gasoline to a fire already out of control.

Regards,

Brian K
