Thanks for the advice. Sometimes I can afford to be patient, sometimes I can't. So even though I knew 9 times out of 10 there would be a rebound come 10am, I didn't want to wait. Not in this jittery market !

Right now it looks like the suckers were the ones who bought into the rally which occurred after the opening sell-off.

Very simple rules. In other words, those responsible for gaps are novices, and the market makers oblige them. These I have done on instinct. The toughest is when the thing gaps against you.
