Been missing the highs at the open also
due AMTD's servers' breakdown for the past 2-1/2
weeks.

Have you looked at Investrade.com?

I know nothing about them but they sure sound
promising on bloomberg.com...

Still looking for alternative/s to AMTD, as I
rarely use eSchwab...

Tell me what you find out pls...

tia.

Brown & Co, very quick, elegant interface for orders on the web, cheap commissions, cheap margin, efficient, generally reliable, and polite and courteous. Costs the same commissions on the phone if the web is down or you're not near your computer.

latest from Geraldo rivera...

Congress is voting Friday to see if they will publicize the executive summary....

and then I guess they have to decide about the appendix which is a separate issue....

look out if the gavel pounds passing the issue during the morning of Friday (3rd day after the full moon Dom)......you know they will allow the public to see the executive summary...question is...does the market get to know before the weekend! Will be interesting to see how it is parsed out as it hits the media...

I would think the sell off would be greater if the market doesnt know before the weekend

the first person who posts the link of the executive summary once it finds itself on the net .......gets a prize ;-)

btw, orrin hatch flat out said the Prez had a problem and needed to get help...on the Chris Matthews show

>> Who's got a good broker?

Brown and Co. are very good. Real time quotes, strictly a stock house, no bonds or funds. Really nice house, I also have an account at Merrill although I should be shot for still having it there. Go with Brown, plus their ads on TV are cool.

Good luck.
