Joe, I won't comment on the bulk of your post, since you basically hit the nail on the head as far as I am concerned. You have to remember though, we are thinking of switch from CSCO to COMS here at our Uni. It can and will happen. CSCO really seems to be stagnant these days. Never realized CS was that bad. What do you think of ASND products? Well Joe, I don't like CS.. and I know a lot of people who don't like CS in the field. Maybe that's why they are where they are. As for ASND I have never really used ASND product, so I can't give you an honest opinion. However, I think we have ASND remote access solutions here on campus (for the modem pools) I'll have to check into that. If we do, I can tell you that they are awful. We are supposed to be bringing a new 56k solution online in the pool this winter, maybe it's gonna be a COMS solution, because the univeristy is really pushing USR modems as the preferred modem for the students to dial in on.
