Not to be a contrarian, but I can think of many ways to allocate the $70M into their growth and expansion plans. Buying stock during these uncertain market conditions, considering their forecast weakness over the next several quarters, can turn into dead money. I'm hoping they made the announcement to support the stock sentiment rather than actually buying so much. If it goes to $8 due to "market conditions", then taking that discount gift makes sense. Gut it out, Pete, and keep your eye on the operations target, which you do very well!
