OTOT...Speaking of S&P and SAP...would it be correct to presume that being headquartered outside USA is no barrier to entry for S&P 500? If not, why are there so few non-US based companies in the S&P? Wonder how S&P 500 performance would compare to that of a market-cap weighted benchmark of the top 500 market caps in the world? Dispense with the S&P selection committee, end the jingoism, and just let liquidity decide where capital may roam, if liquidity itself is the main concern. Sounds like a more "efficient" index to me.
